Keep some marshmallows pampered in Marshmellow Day Spa

Now I’m not the biggest fan of marshmallows, but if I’d have to pick the cutest-looking food out there, these air-filled balls of flour would rank pretty high on my list – along with mochi and deformed gummy bears (who are the runts of their litter).

Marshmellow Day Spa by Ryan Pocock, Jasmin Habezai-Fekri, Maeve Broadbin, and Megan McCurdy is a misspelled game that puts you in control of the cutest marshmallow you ever did see. Tasked with running a hot cocoa spa and serving customers, you have to make sure each visitor’s relaxing experience is catered to their tastes.

And how do you do that? By making cocoa baths, of course!

It all starts by pouring the water at the right temperature, followed by adding the correct types of chocolate and milk. Once those three steps are done, you can add the customer’s preferred topping onto the mix before ringing the bell to usher them into the bath.

Each marshmallow has their preferences located at the bottom of the screen, with orders color-coded to the robes they are wearing. Some ingredients are easy to get while others require a bit of platforming to procure. Only the next ingredient on the list can be put into the baths so if you get the wrong one, you’ll have to toss it in the garbage and start again.

You can serve up to four or five marshmallows at a time, which requires a fair bit of time management to keep all the customers happy.

Marshmellow Day Spa is still in an early game jam build, but you can download and play it for free here.
